But if you’re planning to make your way to the endgame and start farming for the sickest builds like a normal Diablo game, you simply can’t unless you start paying absurd amounts of cash, and this system is even worse than other gacha games I’ve played in the past. If you’re having fun with Diablo Immortal, great! There is plenty to experience with a lot of classes across the storyline for free. And paying a lot, with some calculations putting a “final” build in Diablo Immortal at $40,000-$100,000 of gem-hunting currency for max 5 star awakened everything. It is quite literally impossible to accumulate any significant amount of useful, uncapped legendary gems playing for free, so it’s essentially like the final stages of the endgame don’t exist at all without paying. 5 star crests give the most bonuses and can be awakened so they can slot in the most extra legendary gems for ultra-endgame builds. Shame the $100 bundle of currency only gets you 45 crests…Īnd there it is. Every 50 legendary crests will get you one guaranteed 5 star.

Just replace attractive anime ladies in Genshin Impact with legendary gems. Annnnd guess what? It’s absolutely, 100% a gacha/loot box system. Legendary Crests are the only place you can get 3-5 star gems, where the more stars, the more power, obviously.
